The silk brocades and satins stretched across the walls haven’t seen the sun in a long time.
Illustrious, forgotten figures watch me, room after room, blue-green, yellow-orange.
The garden roses burst with color.
The ocean is very close.
It sweeps over the vivid, contrasting colors, like a caress.
